Irrigation
Irrigation is is supplying dry land with water. The tools we used for irrigation were the shaduf, the canal, and the basin. The shaduf was a tool that had a bucket that was attached to a weight and a long stick. When you used it you would dip it in The Nile and take it out of the river. You would turn it so you can get it to your own personal bucket, and off you go to your farm. The canal was a slide that took water from The Nile to your farm. It was very easy to use. A basin was a bowl shaped area that stored water. This was easy to use too. All you did was take the buckets to the basins, and collect all the water you needed.
